Materials

Yarn: 1 ball of 100g 100% Acrylic, Butterfly Chunky

Hook: 5.5mm

gauge: 5 sl dc pattern repeat 16 st * = 4*4 Inches

Measurements: 4.3 inches wide and 19 inches circumference

Notes

To fit head, measure head circumference and make a headband slightly smaller by an inch or two, this will allow a snug fit.

You can always measure as you go along to ensure desired length is achieved.

nxt – next

dc- double crochet

sk- skip

st- stitch

rep- repeat

Instructions for the slant double crochet headband

ch 19

R1: dc in 4th chain, (ch 3 counts as dc). * sk next st, dc in nxt 3 st, dc into sk st, (forms a slant dc) * rep twice, 2 dc, ch 1

R2: sc across

Rep these two rows until a total of 20 rows is achieved.
