Ever wondered how to crochet a dishcloth? Find out in this step by step tutorial.
These lovely pieces are also known as kitchen cloths or dish rag or tea towel or wash cloths.
This is a beginner friendly project for someone seeking to learn crochet because it is a square of approximately 7 inches.
Notes
what yarn is good for dishcloths?
100% cotton yarn because of the following benefits.
- It is a strong fiber
- Good absorbent, making it excellent to be used in the kitchen
- It does not pill easily even with extensive use.
Taking care of your dischloth
- Most can be machine washed, if made from cotton yarn. To be sure, check the yarn label for instructions.
- If hand washing you can use warm water and detergent, ensure it is dry so that it doesn’t contain slime or allow bacteria to live in them.
