Perfect for a quick project in those lay afternoons in the winter, this beginner knit chunky purple cowl is made using rows of the garter and stockinette stitch commonly abbreviated as St st. It is also known as stocking stitch.
Made with a blend of acrylic and wool, this yarn lends itself soft to the skin and form a cozy cowl for the winter days. Which is what I look for when making winter wearables.

Notes
The first and last two stitches form the knit border.
Although this pattern is reversible, it was designed to have a right side and a wrong side.
To customise this pattern, alternate the garter and stockinette stitch as you desire. Alternatively, work the entire cowl with either the garter or stockinette stitch.
